Brief History
Organized in early 1864. Not listed at the National Archives. Assigned to the District of Northern Alabama, Department of Alabama, Mississippi and East Louisiana from June 1864 to Feburary 1865. Then assigned to theRoddey's Brigade, Alabama, Department of Alabama, Mississippi and East Louisiana from March to May of 1865. Surrendered by Lieutenant Richard Taylor, commanding the Department of Alabama, Mississippi and East Louisiana, at Citronelle, Alabama, on May 4, 1865
